VIVA LA LeBRON VII!

Last week, Nike teamed up with 2009 NBA MVP LeBron James for a LIVE Air Max LeBron VII webcast. Saturday Night Live's comedian Kenan Thompson hosted the unveiling of the sneaker at Akron, Ohio’s Ed Davis Community Center where LeBron balled as a kid. With the all the hype going on about Nike's first ever 360 air bag for a basketball shoe, I was left in all awe when I received a pair in the mail.
I just got back home after a long week to find a nice package from Nike. Kyle Yamaguchi from the Footwear Development Department shot over a limited release of the new LeBron VII's in the white and green colorway. The technology and materials used, combined with a slick silhouette and the comfortability antes up to gives the Lebron VII's the deserved hype. After wearing them I say this innovative design boasts intricate performance and strong aesthetic to its predecessors.
I have to thank Chi and Kyle for hooking this one up! You can read up on Kyle and his work with Nike as he is featured in Sole Collector, issue 25 Nov/Dec 2008. Big ups! Thanks again! These sneakers are definitely going on the shelf!

The following video narrated by Jason Petrie, the designer for the LeBron VII's, breaks down the materials used and the limits pushed to manufacture such a precision deliverable.
